So I thought to myself, who better to usher in the romance of Valentine’s Day than…

capt. stubing

…Captain Merrill Stubing?!!!

Can I get an “amen” from the congregation?!

Ah, good ol’ Gavin MacLeod. I’ll say an amen to that. He can steer my ship anytime…

    Happy Valentine’s Day!

I always stayed up late on Sat. nights to watch the Love Boat and then Fantasy Island. My mom always flickered the downstairs light on and off to cue me to come upstairs and go to bed or at least turn down the volume of the TV. (Gee, I wonder why I was always so tired for Sunday School?)

    good memories…

Yeah, those were the days, Jan!

Wow… I remember the days of Love Boat and Fantasy Island, back to back. Those were the days. The simplicity of television doesn’t really exist anymore. Happy Valentine’s Day!

We now have a good slogan re: the run for Episcopal Office…

“Eric Park: Set a course for adventure, your mind on a new romance”…

    …or something like that.

Charlotte…Yeah, somehow the simplicity of “Fantasy Island” has morphed into “Survivor.” Nobody ever voted Ricardo Montalban off the island!!!

Keith…I can almost hear you singing!

Eric, I hope your valentine’s day celebration with your lovely wife, my friend, was spectacular. We leave at 0 dark 30 for our much needed holiday to Florida so we are voting ourselves off the island~

See you when we get back!

    Love ya

Few shows were as high in the cheese department as that one.

But let the record show that I was there… every Saturday night. As was my Mom.

Yes, I watched it with my Mom. You’re not going to tell anyone are you? I mean this isn’t getting posted in some *public* forum, is it?

Good. Then I don’t have to worry about being embarrassed by the fact that I had a crush on Julie.

    Don’t tell anyone.

Particularly Isaac. He’ll tell the whole ship.
